ARSENAL have evidently secured a £12million deal for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.
The Premier League Bosses fears their long run for Brighton star Moises Caicedo could come to an end since Chelsea's star Joginho,31 is set to join the Gunners. Mikel Arteta's men have been chasing the Ecuadorian but Seagulls rejected an offer of £60m and £70m for Caicedo. Till now, Gunners are still concern that an offer of £75m could still fail to bring Caicedo in and it looks like Jorginho will join Arsenal instead.
According to The Athletic, an amount of £12m fee has been agreed for the Chelsea midfielder who would have become a free agent in the summer, with his medical test to take place on Tuesday. The contracts runs until 2024, with the option of another year. Arsenal is willing to spare some a space for Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka in midfield zone.
The transfer bid of the England international Dominic Calvert-Lewin 22, at a deal of £45m from Everton is likely not to be finalized, giving a reason to allow Jorginho to depart. Chelsea have also signed in midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, Andrey Santos and Denis Zakaria in this summer. Jorginho arrived at Stamford Bridge from Napoli on a deal of £50million in 2018. He has g played 213 matches for the club, contributing 29 goals and 9 assists.
