CALLUM HUDSON-ODOI came out as a shock transfer target for Arsenal, said by reporters.




Chelsea academy product Hudson-Odoi is currently out on loan at German side Bayer Leverkusen. Callum James Hudson-Odoi  is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, on loan from Premier League club Chelsea.

Odoi is yet to score a league goal for the German side, creating values of just 0.1 Expected Goals and 0.8 Expected Assists but scored once in the Champions League. Following Chelsea's massive expenses, including massive investment on wingers, the winger's place at Stamford Bridge is under threat.


Gunners are said to report that Odoi is unlikely to remain at Chelsea once he returns from his loan. And Arsenal are now tailing Hudson-Odoi over a potential transfer. Wing position at Arsenal ha been strengthen at the moent but would not hessetate to sign in new squad for next season. After signing Brighton's forward Leandro Trossard, Arsenal allowed Marquinhos to go on a loan to Championship side Norwich.
