ARSENAL Willian playfully told Thiago Silva he would have stayed at Chelsea had he known he was joining, said by reports.
Willian had a transfer to Arsenal as Thiago Silva, 38, quit Paris Saint-Germain for the Premier League, with the center-back helping the Blues win the Champions League in 2021. According to Sunsports new, Telegraph said Willian had jokingly responded: "If I'd known you were moving to Chelsea, I would have stayed there after all."
Silva had a wealth of options, with former employers AC Milan eager to closed his services, as well as Serie A side Fiorentina. Silva was finally convinced by Willian that the latest challenge of his career is in England's top fighting said by reporters.
Willian made his debut on 18 September against Basel in the Champions League in a 2–1 home defeat.
