ARSENAL Ramsdale has revealed his team mates nicknames including calling Mohamed Elneny Brian.

The Aaron Ramsdale was recently asked to describe some of his team-mates using only one word. Sunsports said at quick-fire ESPN Q&A Ramsdale revealed a few of the nicknames he has for his colleagues. That he calls Bukayo Saka starboy which is a term often used by Gooners. Again Ramsdale uses just two words to discribe Eddie Nketiah that is my "My captain". He calls Ben White "tan" and Gabriel Magalhaes "teeth". Summer signing Fabio Vieira is known by "T-bag" because he looks like the Prison Break character of the same name, Ramsdale calls Reiss Nelson "bulky".

Ramsdale had a clean and successful season and he revealed his pre match plan, which draws out imagination from Sir Bobby Charlton. He said: "In the changing rooms, if I am playing, I take myself away from the main changing room to put my gloves on. "I don’t like everyone giving me well wishes. I put my right glove on, my left glove, take my right glove off and shake everyone’s hand so they are not touching my gloves. It is also a respect thing. It comes from Bobby Charlton. My dad met him once and he went to shake his hand and Bobby Charlton took his glove off to shake his hand so that sort of resonated with me. Then, I go out onto the pitch and put my glove back on, I go to the center circle, play with the ball and then I go and touch the crossbar. I am not massively bothered if I do not touch the ball or crossbar but the gloves one is the main one." Ramsdale signed for Premier League club Arsenal on a long-term contract. He made his debut away to West Bromwich Albion in the 2021–22 EFL Cup five days later, and kept a clean sheet as Arsenal won 6–0. He made his Premier League debut on 11 September and kept another clean sheet as Arsenal defeated Norwich City 1–0 at the Emirates Stadium.
